Enhanced Junior-Senior Programs - Student Professional Development
CBBS is dedicated to providing juniors and seniors with services that focus on their futures as professionals.
Upperclassmen now have the opportunity to meet with the Junior-Senior Professional Development Adviser to learn more about becoming leaders, career-ready, and globally-competitive professionals. Students are encouraged to take advantage of established programs such as CBBS Internships, Horizons, I Lead!, and Study Abroad opportunities to better prepare themselves for the road ahead.
Current services being offered include:
- Advising on professional development and careers
- Finding internships and semester internship programs
- Resume review, full-time job search advice, interviewing skills
- Study abroad information (CBBS and Clemson University opportunities)
- Information on Horizons professional development workshops
Please visit the CBBS Student Professional Development Programs website for additional details on all available programs.
Each department in the College also has faculty advisers and internship advisers to support these services. To find an adviser in your major, click here.
The Michelin Career Center, and on-campus resource for students, also has counselors available to help students in their job search. The Career Center also coordinates a semi-annual Career Fair in the spring and fall semesters; in addition, self-assessment tests and inventories to help an student focus on their interests and strengths are provided. The Career Center provides many workshops to help prepare for graduate school, writing a resume, and setting up on-campus interviews.
