Enhanced Junior-Senior Programs - Creative Inquiry
Creative Inquiry, formerly known as Undergraduate Research, includes all intensive, discovery-oriented approaches to learning. Emphasis is placed on providing an experience that will be meaningful to undergraduate students, and will promote reasoning and critical thinking skills, ethical judgment, and communication skills as well as a deep understanding of the methods of scientific and/or humanities research.
Hundreds of undergraduates with the College of Business and Behavioral Science are participating in Creative Inquiry research projects. Current projects range from examining the culture of Clemson undergraduates to comparative counter-terrorism. In the Psychology Department's simulated driving lab, students and faculty are conducting research on vision and driving. In a collaborative effort with faculty and students from Biological Sciences, management students are participating in the Science Outreach Learning Objects (SOLO) inquiry. To learn more about some of these projects, please visit Clemson University's Creative Inquiry website.
