Enhanced Junior-Senior Programs

Keeping pace with change is critical to success in the 21st century. CBBS graduates must be prepared for change with more than access to the latest technology. They will need courses that develop their leadership, decision-making and strategic-thinking skills. They also need an academic foundation on making ethical decisions in their chosen profession.

We asked students what changes they would like to see, and we took their suggestions to heart. Some of the changes made include:

  • Leading scholars have joined the CBBS faculty.
  • Exclusive Internship opportunities are available for CBBS juniors and seniors.
  • Hundreds of CBBS undergraduates are participating in Creative Inquiry research projects.
  • A number of "Career Ready" professional development events and activities have taken place on- and off-campus.
  • Students are earning certification in our I LEAD! leadership training program.
  • More sections of CBBS 300 and 400 level classes are available.
  • Class sizes in many classes across the college are smaller, especially in upper level CBBS courses.
  • Enhanced Honors classes, many of which are stand-alone sections, are available across the college.
  • Junior-Senior Advisors are available to help students.
