Odom ('06) Named Director of Marketing
Eric Odom, a 2006 graduate of Clemson University, is the new director of marketing for First Sun Management Corporation, a 47 unit Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers franchisee headquartered in Clemson.
Odom, who received his Bachelor of Science degree in economics in May, will oversee marketing and advertising activities for the company, which operates Wendy's restaurants in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Alabama.
First Sun Management Corporation is listed in the Monitor 200 as one of the 200 largest franchised restaurant operators in the country. The company is also listed among the 100 largest privately held businesses in South Carolina.
Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers was founded in 1969 by Dave Thomas in Columbus, Ohio. Today, the Wendy's International system consists of more than 9,900 restaurants representing three quality brands: Wendy's, Tim Horton's and Baja Fresh Mexican Grill.
