MBA Student Association
The MBA Student Association (MBASA) is a student-run, professional organization that serves to enrich the academic, professional, and social lives of our MBA students. The MBASA and its members sponsor speakers, plan industry-related field trips, raise funds for charities, do volunteer work, and promote professional and social events.

Besides the MBASA, there are more than 275 other recognized student organizations that appeal to a wide variety of interests and talents. These include fine arts and theater groups, nationally recognized fraternities and sororities, honorary societies, media groups for those who want to hone their communication talents, professional clubs and societies for those who want to share mutual career goals, political organizations, international clubs, and sports and recreational clubs for everything from sky diving to scuba diving. Additionally, there are volunteer organizations for those who want to help others.

Living in Clemson
Clemson is a relatively small (35,000), centrally-located, university town situated on the shores of Lake Hartwell in the northwestern part of South Carolina at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This scenic region offers the opportunity to participate in many outdoor activities such as biking, hiking and camping. Nearby mountain rivers have white-water rafting available. Surrounding lakes provide a retreat for fishing, boating, and swimming. You can enjoy the 270-acre S.C. Botanical Garden or one of the many NCAA Division I sports events available through the university. The Brooks Center offers concerts and theatrical performances appealing to a wide variety of tastes. The Strom Thurmond Institute sponsors lectures and debates on issues facing the city of Clemson, the state and the nation. Fike Recreation Center has extensive recreation facilities and intramural programs, and the Walker Golf Course offers outstanding golfing opportunities.

Clemson is located approximately two hours east of Atlanta, GA., south of Ashville, N.C. and west of Charlotte, N.C. It is a four-hour drive to the S.C. beaches, one to two hours away from winter snow skiing and 45 minutes west of Greenville, S.C.

HOUSING AND TRANSPORTATION:
There are many reasonably priced apartment complexes in the area. Many of these are designed specifically for student living. In addition, the University provides residence halls and apartments at economical rates for graduate students.

The national award-winning Clemson Area Transit (CAT) transports students throughout the campus and cities of Clemson and Central free of charge. You can also make connections to the nearby city of Anderson, S.C. The Clemson campus could, however, be described as a walker's campus on which the library, computing facilities, classrooms, health clinic, offices and housing accessible within a few minutes of walking.
