Costs Financial
Aid

FINANCIAL
AID: Several
forms of financial assistance are available to qualified
individuals:
- Graduate
Assistantships (full-time
students only) - For highly qualified students (GMAT of at least 680, GPA of 3.4 or better) there is a good chance of obtaining a graduate assistantship, while they last. Assistantships pay a stipend of $6,000 per year (2 semesters) for 15 hours per week of work and reduce the student's tuition to a flat fee of $950 per semester ($1,900 per year). This represents an annual savings in tuition of $7,386 (in-state) and $16,610 (out-of-state).
- Loans -
The primary loan program for US citizens is the Stafford
Loan. The amount awarded is based on need. Part-time program
students must carry a minimum of 5 hours to be eligible for
loan consideration. For more information visit Clemson's Office
of Student Financial Aid (http://virtual.clemson.edu/groups/finaid/), go to www.accessgroup.org or call 800-282-1550.
- Funding
from Outside Sources - To
help minimize your reliance on debt financing, we encourage
you to search for outside sources of funding. Many of our
part-time students are assisted by their companies. For
full-time students, most public libraries and on-line resources
contain extensive reference materials on scholarship searches.
