Dr. Duke joined the Marketing Faculty in the fall of 1989. Prior to obtaining his Ph.D. in 1988, he worked as an analyst and manager in product services engineering, strategic and financial planning, as well as economic forecasting.

Dr. Duke's pioneering work in the application of implicit memory measures to marketing appeared in Psychology and Marketing and the Journal of Current Issues and Research in Advertising. Teaching techniques for pricing and product development appeared in Journal of Marketing Education. Services related issues appeared in Journal of International Consumer Marketing and Journal of Travel and Tourism Marketing. Product and technology management works appeared in the Journal of Product and Brand Management.
