Clemson University is seeking candidates for
two tenure-track faculty positions in entrepreneurship/strategic
management. The appointments will be at the rank of assistant professor,
beginning fall 2010.
The Department of Management is a
comprehensive academic unit within the College of Business and
Behavioral Science. The Department has 29 full-time faculty members, and
offers two undergraduate degrees, a Master of Science degree in
management, and a Ph.D. in management. Management faculty members also
teach in the College’s MBA program.
Clemson University is located in Clemson, SC,
a university town of approximately 13,000 permanent residents and 17,000
students. The city is situated on Lake Harwell in the foothills of the
Blue Ridge Mountains, and is within easy driving distance of Greenville,
SC, Atlanta, GA, and Charlotte, NC. Numerous educational, cultural, and
recreational opportunities enhance the quality of life in the community.
The area is also home to several large multinational companies.
Candidates must anticipate completing all
requirements for the Ph.D. by August 2010, and demonstrate potential for
significant scholarly contributions and teaching effectiveness. The
search will remain open until the positions are filled.
