Department of Marketing - Advising

During the course of the academic year, students who have advising questions are directed to either Dr. Charles Duke (251 Sirrine Hall) or Mr. James Gaubert (234 Sirrine Hall). These two faculty members serve as the department's Master Advisors who can answer student's academic advising questions or explain curriculum issues.

The Marketing Department conducts a series of registration forums during the Fall and Spring Semesters of each academic year. It is at these forums (held prior to each registration cycle) in which students can get their degree progress reports, advising numbers (for entry to register), and most importantly, meet one-on-one with department faculty to discuss their progress in the program. Attendance at one of these sessions is mandatory. Students will be notified early in each semester as to the dates and locations of the forums. Failure to attend these drop-in forums will require the student to setup an individual session, which might not be able to be scheduled until after their registration window has opened.

Students should feel free to contact any departmental faculty to discuss course content questions, career options, internships, and any other issues not directly related to curriculum issues. Click here for faculty contact information.
