The Department of Marketing at Clemson University is pleased that you have chosen to obtain additional information about our degree program and exciting educational opportunities.
The Department has been recognized by the American Marketing Association's Marketing News for emphasis upon undergraduate education that integrates classroom theory with industry practice. Clemson students have also acknowledged the Department by voting it "Best Major" two years in a row.
We offer our students the opportunity to understand industry problems and to work with leaders in a variety of organizations to address the issues that they face on a daily basis. This is accomplished by means of specially funded classes that offer an undergraduate research experience, live case analysis with companies such as DOW Chemical and Eli Lilly, and our newly developed student scholars program. While our marketing majors may elect a general marketing track during their stay at Clemson, the department also offers our students the chance to focus their study in Services Marketing, Sport Marketing, and Technical Marketing.
