Alumni - Reconnect GIVING
It may surprise you to learn that Clemson University receives only 24% of its budget from the state of South Carolina, and 76% of its budget comes from other sources including private support from alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations. Our school is "state supported" rather than "state funded".
Each year, thousands of alumni and friends contribute gifts to the College of Business and Behavioral Science. Your contributions help us:
- Increase alumni outreach and networking programs and services
- Provide scholarships for students
- Provide equipment and services for classrooms
- Support for faculty research funds and curriculum development
Interesting Fact: Did you know that the percentage of alumni who give affects our national rankings? When an alumnus gives to the College of Business and Behavioral Science and/or Clemson University, they are directly helping us reach our goal of becoming a top-20 public institution.

Scholarship Support
Scholarships and fellowships often open the door to a Clemson education. Establishing a scholarship or fellowship endowment ensures that the Clemson experience is accessible to outstanding and deserving young people for generations to come.
Named Endowment for Undergraduate or Graduate Research and Travel ($50,000) provides support for undergraduate and graduate student research and travel.
Named Scholarship Endowment ($25,000) provides a restricted
permanent
revenue stream in support of an undergraduate student.
