Faculty researchers explore many topics including the behavior and characteristics of entrepreneurs, the process of new venture creation, the economic and public policy implications of clusters of new ventures, and the values and norms of families and communities that shape entrepreneurs. Faculty Publications include books, book chapters and articles in leading scholarly journals.
Dr. William Gartner, the Spiro Professor of Entrepreneurial Leadership, co-founded the Entrepreneurship Research Consortium in 1995, which initiated, developed and managed the Panel Study of Entrepreneurial Dynamics (PSED), the first major national longitudinal dataset on nascent entrepreneurship.
