Outreach Activities
The Spiro Center's outreach activities bring together entrepreneurs, business executives, and students in ways that benefit all groups.
- We offer Assistance Programs including market assessments, financial modeling and business planning for inventors and entrepreneurs as well as audits, student internships and special consulting services for existing businesses.
- Through the Spiro Mentoring Program, experienced business executives are matched with entrepreneurs who need counseling and assistance in particular areas. Mentors can assist entrepreneurs by providing experienced guidance and introductions to business contacts.
- We extend our outreach through Collaborations with other organizations on campus and in the state.
- In order to recognize and encourage student entrepreneurs, we sponsor the annual South Carolina Collegiate Entrepreneurship Award competition annually.
