Patient Care. One portion of my research examines patient care and safety in hospital settings. This research involves developing a better understanding of how doctors, nurses, technicians, and administrators communicate about the needs of the patients. A training program is under development for implementation in hospital care settings to improve communication between the different hospital staff personnel to improve patient care and safety.
