Financial
Assistance
Exceptionally qualified full-time MSM
students may compete for graduate assistantships from the Department
of
Management. These assistantships are
awarded on a highly competitive basis, and involve activities
to assist faculty with research and
teaching tasks (typically 10 hours per week). Graduate assistants
pay a significantly
reduced academic tuition fee, and are paid a modest stipend.
Interested students must
complete a Clemson University Graduate
School Financial Assistance Application and submit it
directly to the Department of
Management. Prospective graduate assistants should
submit their assistantship application
as soon as possible, preferably at the same time they
complete and submit application
materials for admission to the program.
Other financial assistance programs may also be available at Clemson
University,
mainly for U.S. applicants.
Please contact the Graduate School for more information on these
programs.
Note: Financial assistance (if awarded) for MSM students is
not sufficient to meet all
expenses (including room and board) each year. Students will be
responsible for any financial
obligations that are not covered by the assistantship. The Graduate
School will inform you of
the amount that needs to be certfied at the appropriate time.
Please note that financial assistance is typically quite rare in
Masters level Business programs
at most U.S. universities.
