How Long Will it Take to Complete the MSM Program?

Full- time students who have already met all program co-requisites should be able to finish the MSM program in three academic semesters (e.g., Fall, Spring, and Fall). Full-time students who need to complete some or all co-requisites should be able to finish the program in four semesters. Alternatively, these students may be able finish the program in three semesters by taking courses during the two summer sessions.

Part-time students who take two courses per semester may be able to complete the program in five academic semesters. Program co-requisite courses that may be required will lengthen the program completion time.

Each semester, based on demand, the department tries to offer selected core and elective courses in afternoon periods. The rotation of these courses allows part-time MSM students to maintain their regular employment while completing all degree requirements.

Admission to the MSM program may occur in either Fall semester (August) or Spring semester (January).

Note: There will be limited graduate course offerings in the MSM program during the two summer sessions.
