A Word From Professor William B. Gartner...

"There is no average in entrepreneurship! This does not imply that entrepreneurs are different from everyone else, it means that there are many different ways to be successful in entrepreneurship."

Welcome to Clemson University Entrepreneurs, a website devoted to profiling South Carolina’s entrepreneurial exemplars. This site is a pilot project created by students in the Spring 2005 ELE 315 (Entrepreneurial Leadership) class at Clemson University. The pilot project group involved Cody Bair, Alesya Belskaya, Kristi Britt, Jimmy Dodgens, Daniel Faris, Shannon Myers, and Charlie Sellers.

Subsequent links in this site provide background information on seven successful entrepreneurs. Many of these entrepreneurs are also graduates of Clemson University. We hope the profiles and the audio commentaries from these entrepreneurs provide you with rich insights into the
entrepreneurial mindset. The audio commentaries focus on important
aspects of the entrepreneurial journey: risk taking, networking/mentors, family/personal life, lessons learned, significant turning points, principles for success, and advice.
