The Clemson Institute will send you specific instructions about how to make your travel plans once you are accepted. You will be required to book your own flight reservation to and from your home airport to Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (GSP), where you will be picked up and driven to Clemson University by Clemson Institute staff. You will then be reimbursed for your travel expenses based on the cost of your flight, up to a $500 maximum to cover both your flight and ground transportation. If you live close enough to drive to Clemson in one day, you may also elect to be reimbursed for your travel at the University's standard mileage rate up to $500.
