The Clemson Institute for the Study of Capitalism is proud to announce the theme of our 2009 Student Summer Conference, "Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged and the Moral Foundations of Capitalism."

We invite applications from undergraduate students who wish to learn more about the moral foundations of capitalism. The conference will run from May 28 to June 1 on the campus of Clemson University in Clemson, SC.

(Please note, the Institute for Humane Studies is also offering a 2009 Summer Seminar on “The Moral Foundations of Capitalism” on Clemson’s campus from June 20–26. The conferences have different lecturers and content, but students interested in the topic may wish to apply for both conferences.)
