MS II Instructor and Logistics Officer, CPT Stephen Noel

Captain Stephen Noel arrived to the Clemson University Fightin Tiger Battalion on January 2009, following a tour of duty with the 1/5/2 Iraqi Army Military Transition Team.

CPT Stephen Noel is a 2003 graduate of Clemson University with a BA in Management. He was commissioned a 2LT in the Transportation Corps. While at Clemson, he attended and graduated from Airborne School and served as a platoon leader in 2 ID, Korea, through the CTLT program.

After his graduation from his basic course, he was assigned to 1 BCT/327 IN, 101st Air Airborne (Air Assault) DIV, Ft. Campbell, KY. Upon arrival he served as the Brigade Support Operations Transportation Officer. While at Ft. Campbell he attended both Air Assault and Pathfinder schools. He served as a platoon leader in 426, forming a new transportation platoon and deployed with them to Iraq. In Iraq, he served as a convoy commander in the Kirkurk area, with daily missions in support of all Forward Operating Bases in the area. After the deployment CPT Noel served as the Brigade Assistant S4 for 327 IN.

After attending his Captains Career Course at Ft. Lee, VA, he received his designation to the Logistics Corps. Subsequently, he was sent to Ft. Riley, KS for the Military Transition Team training course. He deployed as a Headquarters and Support Company advisor, part of an 11-member team assigned to 1/5/2 Iraqi Army. Besides his training duties he served as the team’s executive officer.
