Assistant SEO & Assistant MS I Instructor, CPT Mark Lee

CPT Mark T. Lee was assigned to the Clemson University Fightin’ Tiger Battalion in December 2008 as an Assistant Professor of Military Leadership.

Prior to this assignment he served as an APMS at the University of TN, Knoxville Army ROTC program while simultaneously serving with the 1st BN (EN), 102nd Training Division (USAR) in Knoxville, TN.

Upon his entrance in the U.S. Army Reserve as an enlisted Soldier in September 1991, CPT Lee served in a variety of human resources assignments and units bringing him through the ranks as a non-commissioned officer.

After first attending the University of TN, Knoxville, CPT Lee later completed his Bachelor’s degree at Excelsior College graduating in 2001. CPT Lee then received a direct commission as a 2LT in the Adjutant General Corps in April 2004. Immediately following his completion of the Adjutant General Officer Basic Course in November 2004, he deployed with the 55th AG (P) Company under operational control of the 502nd PSB, 4th Infantry Division to Baghdad, Iraq from Oct 2005 until Oct 2006. Upon his return from deployment, CPT Lee was assigned to the 844th Engineer Battalion (USAR) and served as HSC-Company Commander for one year then transferred to the 1st BN (EN), 102nd Training Division (USAR) as the Battalion S-1. CPT Lee completed his Master of Arts degree in Homeland Security from American Military University in 2009.
